The Beach

The beach was usual enough

It had a creek, rock pools, giant waves, sand dunes

and people fishing.

My sister and I did what family do -

Caught tasty snapper,  swam into shore on the waves, Climbed the sand dunes and caught fat eels in the creek,  and digging pipis for bait

Arbor Day 2021 Lake Ngatu

This is my Recount of Arbor day 2021. It was cool because

Cooper found a humongous centipede. It was cool hanging out with Coops.

WALT; Write an incredible Recount

Arbor Day at Lake Ngatu

I was so excited because we were going to plant trees at Lake Ngatu.

My mum was one of the helpers going to the lake with us. Cooper,

Mila, and Zion were in my group with my mum. My mum had the

2 shovels that I chose to dig the holes for the plants.

The walk over to Lake Ngatu was a fun walk.

Before we planted the tree some people talked to all of us about

safety and how to plant the trees.

Planting was very very fun. It was hard getting the palms  out of the

boxes. There were mushrooms bigger than my hand, Cooper stomped

on them. He was carrying one extremely big but it broke.

I enjoyed our day at the Lake. It was very interesting.

It was so much fun planting the trees at Lake Ngatu.

My Pet Turtle

My pet turtle is Rocky and he makes funny noises with his food. 

Rocky likes to go up onto a platform to have a sit.   Rocky likes to eat shrimp and turtle pallets.  

He can not see the glass so Rocky always runs into it.

Rocky lives in a big tank with his brother Rosie.   Yes that's right Rosie.

Rocky is a slow turtle, he has a light on the platform to help keep his shell nice and hard.

He has green eyes. He is a cold blooded red headed slider turtle. He is very cool and cute.

Rocky has sharp claws too. He is so much fun to play with but he likes to knock over the

water glass sometimes. If you put your finger in the tank they will try to bite your finger.

Rocky is three years old.

America's Cup

 I have been enjoying watching the races. When the boat racing starts I also go quickly to my room and make another lego boat. I watch the race and use my boat to redo what they do!
